All of these effects combined allow for the game to be a lot more atmospheric. SweetFX basically adds a deeper colour saturation, sharpened texture filters, stronger shadows and even a faint blue gradient for outdoor areas. Aliens: Colonial Marines is the latest game to utilize this mod. If you search the net, you can find versions for all types of new releases ranging from DmC to Dead Space 3. SweetFX has been used in a lot of different games. SweetFX and DX10 are the mods in question. Xbox and PlayStation users will have to endure the fiendishly low textures until Gearbox take it upon themselves to do something about it. Sadly, as with most mods, this is only for the PC version of the game. Thankfully, some modders have taken the task onboard for Gearbox and given the game a more than welcome graphical overhaul. This preset has been created with a Benq VA/HDR monitor, keep in mind that depending on the monitor you've and the personal settings that you've put the preset may be better or worse.ģ.
*Note*: I've optimized the preset as well as possible, with my PC configuration suffer drops between 5 and 10 FPS in the majority of the games in 4K with MXAO enabled, but depends on the power of each GPU/CPU and the game that could have some more or less FPS drops.
